Leah Rando-Poller: Educator,

Leah Rando-Poller founded Kids In The Middle to help families navigate separation, school transitions, and shared parenting challenges. Her approach combines compassion with structure, ensuring that children feel supported and parents have practical tools to guide them through change.
With more than three decades of experience as a teacher and school leader, Leah understands both how schools operate and how children respond emotionally to change. This background allows her to design effective handover models and support strategies that truly benefit students, families, and schools.

Leah is a dedicated educator with 30 years of experience and a strong background in therapeutic practices. She is a Master of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Hypnotherapy, and associated techniques, as well as a qualified Reiki Practitioner and Art Therapist. Trained in Child Inclusive Mediation & Counselling with the Jennifer McIntosh approach, Leah has both professional expertise and lived experience with the Family Court process. As a wife, mother, and step-parent, she understands the complexities of blended families.

She works closely with Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners, mediators, and schools to ensure children are not left out of the conversation. Her approach helps families navigate conflict with empathy and understanding. Every child’s feelings, experiences, and perspectives are heard and respected throughout the process.

Leah is registered with the Teacher’s Registration Board of Western Australia, holds a current Working With Children Check and maintains memberships in a variety of professional affiliations.
